Eirtakon is pleased to announce that the Eirtakon art competition will be held on Sunday the 13th of November. People interested in entering the competition simply have to bring their artwork to the event registration desk beside the main entry desk on the Saturday or Sunday of the convention.

There will be 3 categories:

• 14 years old and under: open to entrants 14 and under
• 15 years old and above: open to entrants 15 and over
• Digital art: open to all ages of digital artists

Rules

• Must be original artwork. No copying or tracing of other people's work.
• We need to see the original piece that you created. A photocopy of the original may also be submitted after the original has been checked.
• We can't guarantee printing facilities. So asking us to print off deviantART or make a photocopy won't be allowed.
• One submission per person, per category.
• All the pieces will be put on display from 14:00 on the Sunday, so final deadline for submission is 13:30.
• Winners will be notified and prizes will be given out Sunday during the closing ceremony. If the winner can't make it please have someone there to receive it on their behalf and make us personally aware of this.
• Nothing indecent please. Children will be present.
• All artwork must be anime, manga or Japanese game related.
• Entries must be claimed by January 1st 2012; we are not responsible for non-returned entries beyond that point.
• A3 is the maximum paper size. A4 is the preferred paper size.

Please do not enter if you do not intend to attend the convention! All of Eirtakon 2011's events are only open to attendees. If you are not at the closing ceremony when the winner is announced you will not receive a prize unless you inform the committee in person that you can not attend.
