Eirtakon is pleased to announce our second Figure Painting Competition! Last year's showcased some serious attention to detail so we can't wait to see what 2011 has in store.

There will be three categories:

• Human Figures
• Mecha Models
• Under 16s

The Human Figure category is for any figures that depict human or human-like characters. The Mecha Model category is for any mechanical model such as giant robots or aircraft. Finally the Under 16 category is for attendees under the age of 16 to enter a figure or model of any kind.

Rules

• All entries must be the entrant's own work, pre-painted figures are not allowed.
• No one can enter on behalf of another person the entry must be painted by the person entering it.
• No pictorial entries are allowed.
• The entry must be physically submitted to the committee before 1pm on Sunday November 13th.
• Judging will take place after this time, if you have to leave before this time your entry will not be eligible for the competition.
• Entries will be returned before the closing ceremony on Sunday evening.

Please do not enter if you do not intend to attend the convention! All of Eirtakon 2011's events are only open to attendees. If you are not at the closing ceremony when the winner is announced you will not receive a prize unless you inform the committee in person that you can not attend.

While in the possession of the Eirtakon Committee the utmost care will be taken not to damage or otherwise alter the entries, however all entries are entered at their owner's risk and the Eirtakon Committee, AMS and DCU will not be held liable for any damages.
