The Eirtakon committee is proud to announce that www.gamesnash.ie, Ireland's only dedicated online games retailer, will be present with a wide selection of games from their range available for purchase at Eirtakon. They will also be offering a unique opportunity for attendees to swap and sell their games on the day, the first of its kind in Ireland!

It’s no secret that gamers do not get the full value of their finished and unwanted games when trading in at a brick and mortar games retailer. This is obviously because the retailers' running costs and profit margin are taken away from the games' value before trade in credit is given out. Some retailers (we won’t name names, but we all know who!) take a huge margin, leaving the customer with a fraction of the true value of the game in return. Well, with thanks to Gamesnash, not at Eirtakon! We're taking a stand and offering an exclusive opportunity to sell your games at the price they deserve.

Gamesnash are proud to point out that they do not operate with the higher profit margins that the large retailers do, but at the same time it can’t be argued that the best way forward for a gamer is to sell privately. However selling privately can be awkward and time consuming leaving most gamers happy to trade in for whatever value is offered at the time.

Gamesnash and Eirtakon 2009 are offering you the best of both worlds. Here’s how:
• Bring your old and unwanted games to Eirtakon 2009. We can also arrange for you to post the games in beforehand to save time. Simply email eirtakon2009@gamesnash.ie and Gamesnash will provide further instructions.
• Set your own asking price and leave them for sale at the Gamesnash stall!
• We’re expecting over 750 people to attend the convention, so that’s a lot of potential private buyers for your games!
• Drop back at any time to see if your game has sold or to amend the price.
• When your game sells, you have the choice of taking the full sale price in credit to be spent at the Gamesnash stall or have it available to spend online at www.gamesnash.ie. Alternatively you can receive cash for your games (less a commission of 10%)
• If your game doesn’t sell, Gamesnash will offer you their normal trade in credit for the game plus some bonus credit for participating, which you can then spend at the Gamesnash stall or on the Gamesnash site. Alternatively, you can take your game home with no charges or fees to be paid.
• You can’t lose!

So bring your old games to Eirtakon and sell them at a real price with real gamers - only at the Gamesnash stall!

About Eirtakon
EirtaKon is currently going into its fifth year and has experienced phenomenal growth throughout its life. Last year's attendees smashed the previous years record with over 740 paying attendees present at the convention over the weekend. Eirtakon will be taking place on November 13th - 15th and our guest of honour is Kevin M. Connolly, better known as the voice of Kain Fuery in fan favourite Full Metal Alchemist. We have also confirmed manga, DVD, merchandise and toy traders from all over the world, ensuring that this year's Eirtakon will be the biggest and best yet!
